Blue &Gold Picnic

Please come to our annual BBQ to honor the Blue and Gold Officers who do such a great job for the Admissions Department and Oregon youth who wish to apply for admission to USNA. The BBQ will once again be hosted by Jack Kohl ’65 and Butch Bewick ’62. The BBQ will be at the home of Jack and Joan Kohl out on Pete’s Mountain, south of West Linn.

As in the past, we wish to invite all Blue and Gold Officers, USNA Alumni, including Midshipmen, Parents of Mid’s and families.  The BBQ will start at 4 PM with the BBQ being served about 5:30 PM.  This year we will feature BBQ Brisket, St. Louis style pork ribs, sausage, chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans and other goodies!!!!  All table service will be provided, along with beverages, including water, beer and wine.  You are welcome to bring any additional beverage you would like.  Once again, will the folks whose last name starts with A – L bring a salad, and folks whose last name starts with M – Z bring a dessert.  We do encourage you to bring lawn chairs and tables just to be sure we all get “Seats.”  Jack has seating for about 40 guests.  Please RSVP by July 26th so we can provide food and beverage in such quantities that you all go home stuffed!!!!  RSVP to Jack at 503-781-5195 or jkohl65@jkmanage.com.
